Hello Sunshine
A homemade mess about, just making it up as I went along, on an old 1960's woolworth's guitar AKA Teisco ET200 tulip guitar which I got on ebay really cheap for around £30 as a do-up project. For saying it was such an inexpensive guitar it's fast becoming one of my favourite go to guitars as it does have a really good vintage tone and excellent action. I wish I'd given the song more thought as it seems there's a number of songs already out there by the same title, but it was just made up on the fly word association amble whilst recording!
Pulses On
This soundtrack came into being whilst reading a Sherlock Holmes story (the sign of the four). However it kind of evolved into somewhat of a nightmare! Lo fi boss br 800 recording.
Julie Moon
Another quick song written about people just disappearing from our life, impermanence, as in nothing can ever stay the same, which is the nature of Samsara... enjoy!
625 Mallory Rd.
This song kind of wrote itself after one or two false starts, in my minds eye I saw an old room with faded curtains and the address. It soon became clear it had to be about the supernatural and how some spirits can happily co-exist with present day occupants. I know from experience, but that's another story for some other time.
Because I'm Dumb!
A song that did turn out to sound much like it did originally in my head. Recorded using a vintage Teisco ET200 and equally vintage SG style Kay K2B bass through a pocket pod onto a Zoom R24. At the time I had rather a bad chest when I put down a rough guide vocal, however when I'd recovered I found I preferred to stick with the rough imperfections and added some backing vocals.
